This clapper is a beautiful handmade original custom made by an expert craftsman. It has a white oak base with a mahogany top. This clapper measures 5 1/2" X 5 1/2" X 2" Clappers are a quilters dream tool. When you press your seams on a wool mat and place the clapper on the seam you will end up with a perfectly flat seam. The square clapper is a great size for flattening a group of seams. There is no paint or stain added. It only has a light varnish on top.
